For the latest updates on Gospel Jam 2021, click here. Below is a more detailed look as to why we host Gospel Jam:
Gospel Jam began in 2019, as an annual fundraiser for the construction of a Class A FM broadcast station to serve Western North Carolina with traditional Southern Gospel music. Nowhere can it be found on the radio dial between Murphy (WKRK) and Marshall (WHBK), except for a few, very brief hours on Sunday. The vision is for a radio station that focuses mostly on a music format with limited availabilities for preaching/teaching shows. This new station is to be music-driven and not a Christian talk radio. You can hear a sample of what we offer when you listen to our internet stream here. Lowe Media, Inc. is a nonprofit entity working to establish this vision that has been set forth for over a decade. Today, we are closer than ever: only $8,000 stands to prohibit us from filing the necessary paperwork with the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, D.C.
